What does pet sitting include?
A designated pet sitter will come to your home and attend to the needs of all your pets. At our pet sitting visits, we do our best to maintain your pet’s routine while you are away, so they stay happy, healthy, and anxiety-free. This can include fresh water, feeding meals, administering medications, providing stimulation and play time, lots of love and cuddles, and anything else your pet may need.
If you are away from your home for more than a day, pet sitting visits can also include a home security check, rotating blinds and lights, taking in mail and newspapers, and light plant care.
Just like dog walks, you get a text update and photo at the end of each visit so you know that everything is going smoothly, and your pets are happy and healthy!
Please check our rates page here for our most up to date service rates.
We offer pet sitting visits from 15 minutes up to one hour, and multiple hour blocks as our schedule allows.
We offer up to 4 visits per day for clients who are on vacation, and visit lengths can be varied as well. For example, you may want longer visits at meal times, or shorter visits for just a potty break. We can discuss the best length of time and frequency of visits at your free meet and greet.
Pet sitting visits are great for clients who:
- are out of town on vacation
- may have dogs, but also cats, bird, small mammals, or exotic animals
- have senior dogs who are unable to exercise
- have dogs who may just need a potty break instead of a full walk
